Affiliate Marketing - Realistic Potential Earnings

Affiliate Marketing - Realistic Potential Earnings

Potential earnings...now that could be a real kettle of fish, couldn't it? Where do we start?

Let's go with the assumption that you are reasonably well versed in the use of your computer. We shall also assume that you have the ability to devote some time to generating these potential earnings.

The reason that this article is going out in the first place, is because this is a question that gets asked every single day without fail! The next question is how quickly can this money be earned?

All too often, unrealistic and inaccurate replies are given to these questions, which inevitably leads to disappointment down the road.

Do not expect to earn anything in month number one when you start online. Nor in month number two. And maybe not even in month number three, although that would be stretching it somewhat. By the time the third month rolls around, your marketing efforts should start to pay off.

By far the biggest effect on what you will be earning online is the amount of effort you have put in. Big effort, big money. No effort, little or no money.

You cannot expect to spend an hour or two each week pottering around and expect to earn good money.

If you need some motivation to earn online, there is nothing like that very first dollar you ever make online to drive your spirits up. As soon as that happens, I guarantee you will attack your business with renewed zeal. When that happens, your business will start to take off.

You want dollar figures, I understand. Now you need to understand that these numbers will depend strictly on your effort.

After 6 months of reasonable effort, and depending on what avenue of marketing you are following, it is entirely possible to expect to be earning $500/month plus. Once the train starts rolling, you cannot stop it. Earnings will rise rapidly from there.

At 8 or 9 months, your $500 should have turned into $1,000/month. And at the 1 year mark $3,000/month is entirely within reason. You may make much more, or much less. I cannot stress enough that it depends on your own efforts.

If you put the time and effort in, you will reap the rewards. The biggest difficulty with most people is understanding why it seems to take so long to get the income started. And that is one of the biggest drawbacks of affiliate marketing. It takes time to get your presence felt on the web. But when that happens...watch out!

I'm going to leave you with two examples of people I am acquainted with and their earnings. My best friends' grandson-age 20-makes $100k+ per year. A fellow marketer in Vancouver makes $150k+ a MONTH! So you see, it is possible.

I think, if I were you, I would be really interested to see what this thing is all about. The $100k a year sounds good, but I like that $150k a month a whole lot better. Go right now!
